Issue #32 / Talent / Sam Falls

'I start by photographing a subject with film, scan it, work on it in Photoshop, print it, then paint on it or something. So the object has several different encounters with time and change - it's not pinned down to one instant the way photography classically is. I think that makes for a much less alienating object when viewed'.
Sam Falls was interviewed for this issue of Foam Magazine by Anne-Celine Jaeger.
